WindowSim
Effective 6 September 2026
These terms of use are for the fitter using WindowSim on this device. They are governed by the law of England and Wales.
WindowSim is a trading name of Bond Labs Limited. windowsim.com Company number 17285766. Registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. ICO registration ZC188014.
WindowSim is a trading name of Bond Labs Limited. windowsim.com Company number 17285766. Registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. ICO registration ZC188014. These terms are between you (the fitter using the app) and Bond Labs Limited.
WindowSim is a local photo-to-quote tool for UK window and door fitters. You photograph openings and draft an indicative supply-and-fit estimate in pounds sterling on this device. Quotes stay drafts on this device. Nothing is sent to a customer unless you share, print, or email it yourself.
A photo-only price is an indicative estimate. It is not a contract, not a fixed quote, and not a site visit. WindowSim does not replace FENSA, CERTASS, any other competent person scheme, or Building Control. Confirm millimetres, handing, and specification on a full survey before you order. This app does not grant listed building consent, planning permission, or Building Control approval.
Supply and fitting rates in the rate book are yours. Starting points are not list prices and not a supplier quotation. VAT treatment is your responsibility. Occupancy never selects VAT. WindowSim does not check HMRC and is not HMRC-recognised.
Print, PDF, WhatsApp, share, and email show the company name you set in Settings. They must not show WindowSim, WindowQuote, Bond Labs, windowsim.com, windowquote.com, or a WS- or WQ- prefix. You are responsible for the estimate you send.
You remain responsible for the terms on any estimate you share, print, or email. Typical UK window and door terms cover making good around frames, glass visual quality, access, parking, and a variation if openings differ on site. This app does not install, does not write that contract, and does not take a job payment.
Making good on a replacement is around the new frame: trims, silicone, and pointing at the perimeter. Redecoration, replastering beyond that perimeter, tiling, and plaster that fails when the old frame comes out are extra unless you quoted them.
Glass is judged by looking through it from about 2 metres in daylight, not by inspecting the pane from close range. Seeds, bubbles, and faint distortion within industry tolerances are not defects. Toughened glass can show roller-wave. This app does not promise optically perfect glass.
The customer provides clear, safe access to each opening, and parking for the fit or pays parking, congestion, ULEZ, and permits. Restricted access or a return visit because access was not ready is extra. Access notes on a draft are not a parking line.
Photo millimetres are indicative. If the opening on site differs, or hidden work appears when the old unit is removed, the price may vary. Confirm on a full survey before ordering. Manufacture lead is as you type it, not a guaranteed fit date. A visualiser after image is a look, not a measured survey, and not a cutting list.
When you tap Read the photos, those photos are sent once to xAI. They are then stored on this device. Millimetres stay blank unless a tape is readable or you type them. The app does not invent FENSA numbers, U-values, or sizes that are not in the photo or typed in.
When you tap Show the picked spec on this photo, that photo is sent once to xAI to edit the frames. The after image is stored on this device. It is included with your other photos if you later choose Back up this device. If the model cannot hold the house, the camera angle, the brick, the render, the roof, the garden, the sky, the walls, or the layout, the app says so. It does not ship a CSS-filter fake. The on-site photo is the truth. The after image is a look, not a measured survey.
Plus is an optional monthly subscription. The published price is £14.99 a month including VAT. Minimum term is one month, then it renews monthly until cancelled. Cover lasts to the end of the period you have paid for, plus three days’ grace.
Plus is not live today. Subscribe stays off until we turn payments on. No card is taken until you tap Subscribe and complete Stripe Checkout on the web, or an in-app purchase on iPhone or Android. There is no App Store or Play submit yet.
On the web, pay with Stripe Checkout. Manage or cancel from Manage Plus, which opens the Stripe customer portal. On iPhone and Android, Plus is an in-app purchase through Apple or Google. Pay with the store, restore from Restore purchases, and cancel from Apple or Google subscriptions. A native app does not open Stripe Checkout.
You have 14 days to cancel unused digital content under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you ask us to start Plus straight away and then use it, that right can end. There is no special offer on the way out. Cancel is cancel.
Wipe this device in Settings deletes local drafts, photos, firm details, rates and VAT starting points. Optional cloud backups are kept separately. Delete account removes your signed-in account and its cloud copies while keeping local work. Cancel any Plus subscription with Apple, Google or Stripe separately.
Use the app for lawful UK window and door estimates. Do not use it to mislead a customer, to stand in for a certificate, or to process a child's data.
The app is a local drafting tool. Bond Labs Limited is not liable for orders placed from an indicative estimate, for a site visit you skip, for Building Control or scheme outcomes, or for VAT you charge. You remain responsible for survey, specification, and any quote you send.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. The copy in this app is the current terms of use. Effective 6 September 2026.
